A Year In The Past

Tonight the Mullen Mustangs defeated yet another team for their homecoming game...........
Tonight the student body of J.K Mullen High School decked out with hopes of a victory.........
Tonight the football was placed inside the goal line 45 times.........
Tonight the Varsity team held their heads high and walked with pride.....
Tonight another football field's lights were turned on, people filled the stands, and the sound of their roars echoed the stadium.......
Tonight was the night i cheered for my state champions.......
Tonight was the night my friends and I partied because happiness was the only feeling we experienced.......
Tonight was when i fell asleep with dreams of what homecoming was going to be like tomorrow.....
Tonight was my life a year ago.....

So for all those Mullen kids out there, CONGRATULATIONS, I HOPE YOU HAVE AN AMAZING HOMECOMING!!!! ENJOY EVERY SECOND BECAUSE SOONER OR LATER TONIGHT WILL ONLY BE A 'LAST YEAR MEMORY' LIKE IT IS FOR ME NOW.....

My Hat's Off To You

My family has always been patriotic and proud of the men and women who have served and currently serve our Country. However it wasn't until now that I gained MUCH respect for the families and wives of the men and women that are away fighting for people's freedom, like mine. Three weeks ago I met a guy who has impacted my life for the best. We talked for awhile, and come to find out he's leaving for the army in January. My heart dropped when I heard this, I didn't know whether I was sad or proud. After many conversations about why he wanted to become apart of the Army and what we were going to do when he did, I was extremely proud to know a guy that was willing to leave everything behind to serve his country. I have great respect for you wives and families that have family members currently serving our great nation. Nobody knows how difficult it is to love someone and not be able to see them for a long length of time because they are away at war. I don't even know how to experience that emotion yet....So then why am I writing this? You may ask.
I believe that in today's society we have decreased the amount of respect we pay to all of our fellow citizens who have served and currently serve our nation. Whether it be the Marines, Coast Guard, Army, Navy, Air force, etc. I thank you!! Words can't describe how grateful and proud of you guys I am. It not only takes talent and strength, but lots of determination and mind power to give up a part of your life to fight for your Country. MY HAT'S OFF TO YOU!! As for wives of soldiers, mothers of sons, and family members to defenders of our Country I thank you for everything you do and for supporting your loved one's as they make an impact on average people's lives, like mine. :)

!!SummerTime!!

Finally Summer is here!! Kids are out of school and it's time to make memories and go on vacations. Whats your favorite memory about Summer so far? Some people have a certain vacation spot they travel to and others have customs they enjoy participating in. For example me and my friends always start our first "official'' day of summer by going to my lake and jumping in from the dock. After, we gather on the shore line for a BBQ and camp out. What Are They Talking About??

Poetry....love letters.....rymes.....riddles.....raps. What are writers really writing about when they write raps or poetry? As a singer myself I know that our lyrics or sentences come from the heart and personal experiences. Today I have had the song 'Airplanes' stuck inside my head, so I finally purchased the song off of Itunes, however I keep wondering what Eminem & Hayley are talking about when they sing this song together. Love? Pain? Chasing your dreams? Disappointment? I have no idea. All i know is that for some reason this song is really sticking in my head and relates to me in one way or another. But how?!

More Snow?!?

Oh my! I thought it was starting to become Spring, and wow I was proven wrong. I don't know about other cities but in Littleton, we got tons of snow! The only good thing is that the kids got a snow day! :).....But when will it be warm for more than three days??!?!

I'm Back

Hey Guys!!! Sorry I haven't been posting a whole lot (even though I've come to realize that nobody even reads my posts) but that doesn't matter. I'm gonna keep blogging no matter who reads my posts. Life is getting ready to change!! I am following my acting/singing career and I'm currently working with two companies :) Therefore I can not wait until I decide which company to sign with, and start doing commercials. I leave for L.A and Vegas in two months, and I'm sooooooo excited!! Have you guys ever had a dream that your so close to achieving, but still so far away?

~Harmless Orcas or Killer Whales?~

Some people would say that animals in captivity can never be trusted. I partly believe that this fact is true. Any WILd animal that is put into a park for entertainment, should never be fully trusted, or blamed when an incident occurs....People! They are wild animals! For a certain reason they were put into the jungle, ocean, woods, etc they are not pets. The reason I post about this topic is because on Tuesday a killer whale killed his trainer in Orlando, Florida. My question to you guys is what should they do with Tilikum (the whale involved with three deaths now)??? Do they let this beautiful untamed animal live or do they euthanize him?
My whole view on this is that he is the biggest whale they have in their park, and if you're ever lucky enough to see this amazing creature, you can tell that he is all muscle! Tilikum weighs 12,300 tons! Now my problem is that based on the news a reporter/witness of the show where Tilikum makes his attack says, and I quote, "I wish and pray that the park wouldn't have used him for the rest of the day after his first performance (the one before he attacked his trainer). The whale looked angry and bothered by something...?!?!" What bigger hint could the whale give his trainers to leave him alone then besides acting differently in the first performance of the day. He was obviously trying to tell everyone he didn't want to perform. So How come the park and trainers thought it would be okay to 'play' with him or 'show' him off. Maybe just maybe, Tilikum attacked the trainer because she was the only one close enough and his message wasn't getting across. Therefore he thought he must do something to tell everyone how he felt. It probably was the trainer's faults. All in all both Tilikum and the trainer is to blame?!?! But should Tilikum be punished or was it just natural behavior for a WILD animal? What do you think? (I also send my condolences to the family of the attacked trainer) Feel free to watch videos that will be posted on my page till tomorrow

Talent Should Be Recognized

If you guys watch my video bar, you will see two girls. Their names are Megan and Liz, and I personally believe these girls can sing!!! I have been a singer since I could walk and when I see actual talent, I believe it should be recogonized. Maybe Possible is not their only song. What is Love? My poem

Hey everyone! What is love? That is my question for the day. Prior to this day, I didn't have an exact definition of what love was in my head. I thought, sure I know what love is. Its this feeling you get when two people meet and have the same interests in each other....Boy was I wrong! Between my friends and family I know a lot of people that are in the Army or Marines. Therefor ever since i was young I have always had the most respect for anybody who has any family member that is fighting for our country, and the person putting thier life on hold to protect our country. So where am I going with this? A couple days ago I was at a basketball game and I saw this Marine in uniform his wife, and little kids. Their family was so happy! I glanced over every now and then and saw the little kids munching on their popcorn, and sipping their sodas. A smile quickly appeared on my face, but it wasn't until i looked at the Marine and his very proud wife that i got this warm feeling in the pit of my stomach. At that exact moment this poem came to my mind......
Love is patient, Love is kind, and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered. Love. Love should be unconditional, something no one can control. Something that is not directed, but has its own directions. Love can not be chosen for you, you choose it for yourself. When two people look into each other's eyes they see a blank map. But they must lead and work with each other to find the treasure. What is the treasure you may ask? Themselves. Love can be the hardest most heart breaking action you perform in your life. However it can be the greatest most amazing thing in life that gives you an exploding fire cracker feeling in the pit of your stomach when you meet the right guy, or gal. So with a little bit of Faith, Patience, and Luck you will find the path of love.
